The Five Star Yamaha Learn To Ride Academy saw it’s second event last weekend which brought many riders to the track to begin their journey of being a part of the Motorsport industry.
Located at Lightweight Motorcycle Club, the event had riders of all ages from children to adults. Being given the opportunity to spark their passion without having to endure the expense, Motorcycling Western Australia was able to provide riders with the protective equipment and motocross bikes whilst guiding them through teaching techniques on how to actually ride the bikes.
Many riders aren’t sure on how to enter the sport or become a part of the community. The Learn To Ride Academy creates the setting for people of all ages to take a step into the Motorsport world without the daunting expenses and questions.
MWA accredited coaches implemented activities in which riders where able to gain balance and confidence on the bike whilst learning simple and basic skills that will enable them to develop their riding further. Being held at one of our very own affiliated tracks, riders where able to experience the real life setting of a motocross tracks to ensure all bases are covered when it comes to the feeling and sensation on the bike.
Motorcycling Western Australia received a great amount of positive feedback following the event that witnessed up to twenty riders learning how to ride. Many have already registered for the up coming event happening on October 3rd.
