All forms of Motorcycle Sport require many key personnel for events to take place and there are several ways you can become involved in Motorcycle Sport without competing. These include Clerk of the Course, Steward, Adjudicator, Scorers, Race Secretary, Scrutineer and Flag Marshals.
Becoming an MWA Official is a great method of being involved in events. From the age of 16 you can become an Official at our events around the State.
To become an Official is very easy with no qualifications required, just willingness to learn. You will be fully trained by an MWA Qualified Trainer. Although an Official is normally a voluntary position many clubs offer small rewards such as free food and sometimes even a small monetary payment.
Anyone can attend organised Seminars to gain the experience and join the register of Officials for all types of events from grassroots to National competition.
Why not try it, it’s a great way to meet new like minded people, get even more pleasure out of the event and you will be putting something into the sport for the cost of a few hours of your time.
Our events and hosted clubs desperately need your support to be able to run these events for our Motorsport community to evolve here in WA.
