Clubs and Promoters are reminded of their requirement to submit event Supplementary Regulations (S/R’s) to MWA in the required format, for approval in a timely manner.
S/R’s must be submitted in a timely manner, in accordance with the attached MWA State Event Calendar, Permit and Supp Reg Policy (previously communicated to all clubs by MWA) and in the prescribed form (template attached) as required in the 2023 General Competition Rules at 3.2.13.
Upon receipt by MWA, S/R’s will be sent to the respective discipline specific sporting panel, for review and approval or feedback. Neither MWA nor the relevant Sporting Panel will rewrite the S/R’s if they are deficient.
Currently there are multiple formats of S/R’s being used/ submitted to MWA that don’t meet the required standard, or in the MA approved format. Simply “cut and paste” from previously submitted S/R’s (without update references, information and old event dates) does nothing to assist the timing of the approval process.
Clubs are advised that the onus is on them to submit their S/R’s, in the format required and in a timely manner, to allow for review and approval. Final event permit approval will be subject to the S/R’s being completed and approved.
