Part of the AJMX is the Interstate Cup Challenge. When Western Australia was announced the 2024 ICC winners on home turf, the presentations erupted. Western Australia narrowly edging out a strong NSW contingent with Queensland in third. Popular WA Team Manager Charlie Creech accepted the trophy and revealed his named riders which had been a secret since practice and qualifying. They were Seth Shackleton, Leah Rimbas, Ryder Matthews-Taylor, Makayla Rimbas, Levi Farr, Ollie Birkitt, Chase Wilson, and Nate Forwood. Charlie admitted during his acceptance speech it was a tough job picking from the squad members and this sentiment was shared across all the state team managers.
It was a fantastic event and showcased the best young Motocross Talent in the country. The Bunbury Motorcycle Club Committee led by Luke “Bluey” Few turned out a spectacular venue and challenging track that saw the cream rise to the top by the end of 5 days of racing. All participants put on a show for the crowds and should all be proud of their achievements. Special thanks to KTM Australia for their continued support of the championships. The countdown begins now to AJMX 2025.
