2018 Make Smoking History Senior State MX Series

The 2018 Make Smoking History Senior State MX Series hits the halfway point on June 24th – that’s when Hendley Park, Byford – Home to the Lightweight Motorcycle Club – will come alive to the sounds of roaring motocross machines.

The guys and gals will be hyped and ready to throw their 2-wheels & 4-wheels around this circuit!!

With most Championships in close contention, anyone, yes anyone could take the win on the day….Racing will be fast; Racing will be furious; Racing will be bar banging, dirt spewing, high flying and non-stop.

Will you be there??  Lock in the date – Sunday June 24th

The “Planet Honda MX1 Championship” is still being led by David Birch – but only 9 points behind is Michael Mahon. Racing was intense last time out with the lead changing over and over.  You can be guaranteed that all the riders in this class will be on fire for Round 3.

Youngster Mat Fabry has taken over the #1 Plate in the “Motul/Pirelli MX2 Championship” with previous leader Daniel Pajewski dropping to 6th place.  There were some upsets & crashes at the last round and surprising results at the end of the day.  The top 6 will no doubt try to build on these results with only 57 points separating first and 6th spot – keep your eyes fixed on the track.

Cullys Yamaha Womens Championship – Young Tahlia O”Hare is leading this class after Round 2 but Kara, Chelsea, Lily & Megan kept up the pressure all day.  Hopefully we will see Hannah return to race at this round after an earlier round injury.  There is no doubt that sparks will fly as these ladies will be fresh from their National Round at Manjimup.

With Luke Gaisford suffering bike problems at Round 2 he has slipped to 7th in the Championships and no doubt be keen to make up points at Byford. Chris Bosnakis currently sits first in the “Brutum Logistics Quad Championship” 43 points ahead of 2nd place rider Michael Murphy.   Our only female rider in this class is sitting comfortably in 10th spot and will no doubt be keen to move up the ladder at this round

This round will also include the second round of the mini series for the Amateur Cup.  There was action aplenty as the riders were at home at the Beverley track.  No doubt they will be keen to capitalize at their second hard pack track before heading into the sand.  Jaxson Turner is leading from Cheyne Speak; Clint Hardy and Spencer Astwood.

See you all there – SUNDAY 24TH JUNE 2018
