Round 3 of the WAMX Make Smoking History State Junior Motocross Championships will be held on Sunday 20th May 2018, this round marks the halfway point for the series.
Another hard pack surface at the West Australian Junior Motocross Club located in Chidlow, the Eric Walter Park circuit is approximately 1.4km long and after changes to the track during the off season there will have something for every skill level and will provide some spectacular action packed racing.
The 50cc Demo Class will again be out there showing the spectators all the skills they are learning and some these little guys and girls may someday become future motocross champions.
Watch out for Leah Rimbas in the 65cc 7-U10 years she has hit great form coming into this round and am sure she will take it to the boys, can she come out on top over Shackleton and Pellicano at this round?
The battle between Minear, Shackleton and Paice in the 85cc 9-U12 years will provide some fast paced racing all trying to secure moto wins, with this being Shackleton’s home track let’s see if he can take the win in this round.
Who will come out on top in the 128/250cc 13-U16 years, with Rhys Burnett and Seth Manual and Cody Chittick all looking to take top spot on the podium? These same three riders will also be looking to back it up in the 100-125cc 13-U16 years.
Jae Dowsett in the Quad up to 200/250cc 12-U16 years his bike has been running flawlessly and he is definitely the rider to beat. He will be trying to consolidate on his already impressive lead, with Flynn Burton, Joshua McQuade and Brooke Hall all trying hard to edge closer.
