2018 State Motocross Championships

There are only 8 weeks left until the 2018 Make Smoking History State Motocross Championships – Easter is the date, so lock it in – for a huge double header weekend of racing at the Manjimup circuit at Cosy Creek Manjimup.

Entries are open, so don’t miss out on your place on the starting grid.

All the teams and trucks will be there and WA's 2017 Champions return for more bar banging, elbow crashing action over the Easter long weekend.

There is a deep pool of talented senior riders to watch in the MX1 & MX2 classes – Josh Adams, Michael Mahon, David Birch, Chris Ruttico, Paul Humbertson, Brett Norton, Tyson Whincup, Dylan Sexton, youngsters Mitchell Outram & Kurt Oinn to name just a few and these guys all mean business.

Our ladies are not to be missed either – they will be keen to get their season underway and with the Ladies National round at this track later in the year, we are sure that Lily Kent, Meagan & Hannah Bagnall and Chelsea Blakers will be in full race mode.

Both the Womens and Veterans class have a 2018 National round at Manjimup, so there will be full gates for these classes at the first WAMX round with competitors wanting to get in as much bike time on the iconic track as possible. In the Vets class current Champion Trevor Unstead will be lining up along with Paul Smithson, Rex Brown and Michael Jones to do battle with all new comers.

Current Quad Champ Chris Bosnakis will be back and you can be sure that Blake Croonen, Shaun Woodhead and Daniel Soltoggio will line up and these four wheeled machines will be flying on this circuit.

Our junior riders won’t be left behind and there will be some spectacular racing on Saturday. With all classes on show from 50cc demos to the 125/250cc and for 2018 our junior quads will also be at each and every round.

So what are you waiting for?  Get your entries in, lock in the dates for some spectacular racing action.

See wamx.com.au for all the entry details – camping will be available at the venue – details for this will be available soon.

We will be there – will you?
